Moving
We have never really moved before. Yes we did move to Tucson but we hardly had any stuff. The few items we did have were packed and moved by Allied. Once in Tucson we moved, but again, there was hardly any stuff. We moved back from Tucson but people packed us and physically moved us again. Then a lot of our stuff sat in storage for 6 months and was never unpacked, until now. Finally I have come to understand why people avoid moving at all costs. Throw in a couple of kids and way, way too much stuff that has been accumulated over the last 9 years and you have a nightmare. It has taken two weeks and we will finally be out of the rental house tomorrow. We moved our major things on Saturday followed by a wonderful salmon bake put on by the city in the park near us, followed by a birthday celebration for Brayden, followed by fireworks. The next day Brian went out of town and ants decided to invade the kitchen each night. The ants have been sprayed and Brian is back so things have settled down a little bit but I am considering having some sort of yard sale where people can bid on my "Mystery Boxes." This way I don't have to unpack and it would be more exciting than a regular yard sale.
I will post pictures of Brayden's birthday soon. We tried to make it fun under the circumstances. We just told him that the fireworks were special treat for him. He truly loved a party just for him. He wanted to wear his party hat and blew out the candles lit or not many times. After it was over he would randomly stand up, put his arms above his head and yell, "Party! Party! Party! Yey!"

Walmart
I dread going to Walmart. The one close to our house is totally, ghetto. I miss the Walmart on Cortaro in Tucson! Is that psycho to say? I don't know why I keep going back. Each time I leave I swear I will never go there again. If you want to see people yelling at there kids all hours of the evening, head on over. Of course your children aren't going to behave, they are at Walmart at 10:00 at night. Being there makes me want to cry. Idiots! Why do I go? Well, they sell Hebrew National hot dogs for much cheaper than the local grocery stores. Those are the only hot dogs I will eat on occasion and Brayden is a hot dog lover. So I might as well have some around that doesn't make me want to gag. Also Walmart is closer than the grocery store that sells the deli turkey Brayden will eat. They sell their cleaning supplies, toys, clothes, medicine and other odds and ends. It saves me money and trips to other places. If I win the lottery, the first thing I would do would be to ban Walmart from the places I would enter. It is not worth the money to have three homeless people that haven't showered in 6 months stand extremely close to you while you are checking out. Is it worth having to breath through my mouth and hold back the gagging reflux to save some time and money?? I don't know. It is like a diet I can't stay on....I keep going back.....back for those cheap workout shirts and capris.....back for the 4$ t-shirt for Hailey......back for the leotards. Please bless a Target comes to the piece of land nearby slotted for a big box store. Please.....I don't want to go back.

All Done
Well it's is done (at least the builders are done.) Brian and I have a long list of things we would like to do to it. Brian is excited to have projects again. We close today and tomorrow we get the keys. I am a little concerned that it won't stay new for long. Brayden snuck in the sidewalk chalk yesterday and colored a large portion of the carpet blue in the rental house. Also there is a large tupperware on the floor in Brayden's closet. The kids (especially Brayden) love to sit on the tupperware and hide behind the clothes. It is there secret hideout. Brayden has stayed in there for 20 minutes playing before. So yesterday I was putting some clothes away and found the Costco size container of chocolate milk powder, 4 apple juices, 3 fruit cups, and one mushy greasy stick of butter on that tupperware. Brayden cried and cried when I took the butter out.
Hailey just finished sports camp today. She never wanted to go but had a good time once she got there. I also signed the kids up for gymnastics because it was an activity they both could do at the same time. Brayden is the dare devil of the mommy and me class. It is crazy how my kids are complete opposites. The teacher uses him as the example to show the terrified kids what to do. The teacher flips him around for me because he is so heavy. Brayden begs for more yelling fun, fun, wheeee!
Brian just returned from his second trip to Kansas City for work. It is rough eating at Ruth's Chris or the Cheescake Factory after a 7 hour work day. He likes the city and will probably need to go back one more time.
Well that's it for now, except, farewell savings account, tomorrow we will be poor.

Orem Days
Because of the whole new house thing, we will not be going on any summer vacations. So we have decided to take advantage of all of the community events. Last weekend we went to Orem for "Orem Days." They have a carnival, parade, yummy food, craft booths, entertainment and fireworks. This was the kids first parade. They actually were really entertained and sat there and watched. I couldn't believe it. People on floats throwing candy at them also helped. So next weeekend the town of Pleasant View, where we are moving, hosts "Founder Days." They are having a Salmon Bake in the park behind our new house and then fireworks that evening. Over the 4th of July North Ogden host "Cherry Days" and sometime Brigham city hosts "Peach Days." How come we never had something like "Prickly Pear Days" in Tucson? It could have been fun. Brayden appears to be a bit terrified, maybe that's because it looks like Brian is strangling him. He actually loved it. They went two more times. Hailey could barely watch.
What the......? If only church could have floats and disney characters.
